SUJEEWA SINNATHAMBY –Senior  Manager 

Auctioneer/Broker, Tea Taster and Valuer. 23 years  experience in the tea trade.

Commenced employment at M/s. Eastern Brokers Ltd Tea Department in the year 1999 as a Management Trainee and was thereafter appointed as an Executive. Moved to Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers (Pvt) Ltd Tea Department as an Assistant Manager in 2006 and was promoted as Manager in 2017. Subsequently in 2021 was promoted as Senior Manager.

CHANDIKA DE ALWIS – Senior Manager

Auctioneer/Broker, Tea Taster and Valuer. 23 years’ experience in the tea trade. 
Commenced employment at Forbes & Walker Tea Department in January 2000 as a Management Trainee. After successful completion of training was offered employment as an Executive with effect from January 2001. and promoted to the post of Assistant Manage in January 2008. Promoted to the post of Manager in 2017 and Senior Manager in 2021.
 

SURANTHA DE SILVA -  Manager 

Manufacturing adviser. Auctioneer/Broker, Tea Taster and Valuer. 22 years’ experience in the tea trade. Also involved in assisting producers in the High, Medium and Low Grown sectors in improving product quality. 

Commenced employment at Forbes & Walker Tea Department on 16 August 1999 as a Management Trainee. After successful completion of training was offered employment as an Executive with effect from 1 January 2001. Promoted to the post of Assistant Manager in 2009 and post of Manager in 2017. Successfully completed a professional programme in tea manufacture and factory practice in 2003 from the National Institute of Plantation Management. and promoted to the post of Manager in 2017.

ASHEFF KHAN – Manager

Auctioneer/Broker, Tea Taster and Valuer. 18 years’ experience in the tea trade.
Commenced employment at M/s. Eastern Brokers Ltd Tea Department in December 2004 as a Management Trainee. After successful completion of training was offered employment as an Executive in January 2006 and promoted to the post of Manager in 2010. Thereafter moved to M/s. John Keells PLC Tea Department as an Assistant Manager in January 2015. Joined Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers (Pvt) Ltd as a Manager in February 2021. Holds an MBA from the Kanpur University of India.

SHENAL KARUNADASA – Manager

Auctioneer/Broker, Tea Taster and Valuer. 11 years’ experience in the tea trade.
Commenced training at Forbes & Walker Tea Department in June 2011 as a Management Trainee. After successfully completing training, was offered employment as an Executive in 2012. and Promoted to the post of Senior Executive in 2017, Assistant Manager in 2018 and post of Manager in 2021.Holds an MBA from the Birmingham City University UK.

KEVIN WIMALADASA – Assistant Manager

Auctioneer/Broker, Tea Taster and Valuer. 12 years’ experience in the tea trade.
Commenced his career at John Keells Tea Brokers as an Executive in September 2011 and thereafter moved Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC as a Senior Executive in October 2014. Joined Ambassador Tea Exports Pvt Ltd in 2017 as a Tea Buyer. Moved to Forbes & Walker Tea Department in 2019 as Senior Executive and promoted to the post of Assistant Manager in 2021.

ANDREW SAMUEL – Assistant Manager

Auctioneer/Broker, Tea Taster and Valuer. 8 years’ experience in the tea trade.
Commenced employment at M/s. John Keells PLC Tea Division in the year 2014 as a Management Trainee and thereafter appointed as an Executive. Moved to M/s. Finlays Colombo PLC in the year 2019. He Joined Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers (Pvt) Ltd in the year 2021 as Senior Executive and was promoted as Assistant Manager in the same year.

ISURU JAYASENA – Assistant Manager

Auctioneer/Broker, Tea Taster and Valuer. 16 years’ experience in the tea trade.
Commenced employment at Kelani Valley Plantations as a Management Trainee in 2004. Appointed as Estate Assistant Manager in 2005. Thereafter, joined Bartleet Produce Marketing in 2008 as a Management Trainee and was confirmed as a Junior Executive In October 2008. Employed at Bartleet Produce Marketing for 16 years and at the time of resignation in 2023 held the position of Manager. Joined Forbes & Walker Tea Department in June 2023 as an Assistant Manager.
