Fairly good demand for the 150,710 packages (9,887,393kilos) on offer at irregularly easier rates and 14.73% of the teas remained unsold.

The best BP1s available shed USC8 with brighter categories easing by USC10 to USC16 and a few lines were neglected while mediums met an irregular enquiry ranging between firm to USC12 dearer to easier by USC6 to USC14. Lower mediums were irregular varying between USC14 dearer to easier by upto USC8 with plainer descriptions ranging between steady to USC4 dearer to easier by upto USC20.

Best PF1s in the market were discounted by upto USC18 while brighter sorts lost USC8 to USC14 with mediums firm to USC17 below last prices and some lines remained unsold. Lower mediums were generally easier by upto USC18 but a few improved invoices gained upto USC4 with plainer types about firm to USC10 easier.

The best PDUSTs on offer were heavily discounted with brighter categories irregular and varied between firm levels to easier by USC8 to USC14 while mediums were irregular varying between firm to USC6 dearer to easier by upto USC10 with some teas neglected. Lower mediums saw prices ranging between USC12 dearer to easier by upto USC8 with plainer types upto USC14 easier.

The best DUST1s in the market were marginally dearer while brighter sorts saw improved interest and appreciated by USC10 to USC20 with mediums a strong feature gaining USC4 to USC28 and more. Lower medium DUST1s varied between USC12 dearer to easier by upto USC8 while plainer descriptions ranged between USC20 dearer to easier by upto USC26.

In the secondary catalogues BPs and PFs were dearer. Clean well sorted coloury Fannings and similar Dusts gained. Other Fannings appreciated while similar DUSTs were irregular. BMFs were well absorbed and gained.

Pakistan Packers, Yemen, other Middle Eastern countries and Russia showed more and strong support with increased activity from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, other CIS states, Bazaar and Sudan. Egyptian Packers and UK maintained interest but the latter remained selective on quality. There some interest from Iran. Somalia showed more activity.
