SALE OF - 23RD JUNE 2015 (SALE NO.26)

 

CTC DUST

DEMAND :Good (79% sold)

MARKET :Good liquoring and high priced teas opened on a steady note. As the sale progressed, declined by Rs.3/- to 4/- and sometimes more following quality. However, medium and plainer grainier varieties firm to dearer following better export enquiry.

BUYING PATTERN :Avt, Kerala state civil supplies active on good liquoring varieties. Hindustan Unilever, Tata Global and upcountry buyers lent fair support. Kerala loose tea traders subdued. Improved export enquiry noticed.

ORTHODOX DUST

DEMAND :Fair

MARKET :Primaries steady. Others lower.

BUYING PATTERN :Small quantity of orthodox dust sold was absorbed by exporters.
