SALE OF - 21ST JULY 2015 (SALE NO.30)

 

CTC DUST

DEMAND :Fair

MARKET :Good liquoring teas lower by Rs.2/- to 3/- and sometimes more. Others irregular and lower by Rs.3/- to 5/- and declined further as sale progressed. Around 32% teas were unsold due to low bid or lack of bid.

BUYING PATTERN :Avt, Hindustan Unilever and Tata Global very selective and subdued. Kerala state civil supplies active. Kerala loose tea traders and upcountry buyers slackend. Exporters restricted to medium and plainer grainier varieties.

ORTHODOX DUST

DEMAND :Less

MARKET :Primary grades barely steady. Others lower and witnessed lot of withdrawals

BUYING PATTERN :Small quantity of orthodox dust sold was absorbed by exporters
