SALE OF - 15TH DECEMBER 2015 (SALE NO.51)

 

CTC DUST

DEMAND :Good (90%)

MARKET :Good liquoring teas firm to dearer by Rs.2/- to 3/- and sometimes more as the sale progressed. Medium and plainer varieties followed a similar trend. However few marks were irregular and lower following quality.

BUYING PATTERN :Avt lent useful support to good liquoring teas, but not as active as they were last week. Support from Kerala state civil supplies, regional blenders and loose tea traders of Kerala were beneficial to the general market. Exporters were more active compared to last week. Upcountry buyers lent fair support.

ORTHODOX DUST

DEMAND :Fair

MARKET :Primary grades steady. Others irregular and lower and witnessed lot of withdrawals.

BUYING PATTERN :Small quantity of orthodox dust sold was absorbed by exporters.
