CTC LEAF:13,500 packages and 10 packages of Old  Seasontea on offer met with a strong demand.   

BROKENS/FANNINGS: There was again a nominal weight of clean liquoring teas on offer which were strongly competed for and generally sold at dearer rates. These could be quoted between Tk.210/- and Tk.225/-. Mediums also met with a good market with prices following quality. Plainest and end of season types met with a good demand. However, there was fair withdrawals in this category.  

CTC DUST:  2,597 packages and  60  packages of  Old Season tea on offer met with a fairly good demand but mostly at easier rates. Select few lines of good liquoring Ds and RDs met with keen competition and sold between Tk.215/- and Tk.230/-. All others were a lower market easing upto Tk.15/-. Plain and end of season varieties witnessed a few withdrawals.  Blenders lent only a fair support with quite good interest from the Loose tea buyers.

COMMENTS: There was a similar trend to last in this week’s sale. Blenders were less active whilst Loose tea buyers were the mainstay of the market.

Good liquoring Dusts sold well but were an easier market.

Our catalogue (This week) Avg: Tk.142.06, sold 68.48% & (Last Week) Avg. Tk.151.70 sold 74.17%.
