BANGLADESH AUCTION
SALE OF - 31ST MARCH 2015 (SALE NO.45)

CTC LEAF: 6,631 packages and 1,968 packages of New Season Teas on offer met with a good demand.

BROKENS/FANNINGS: The bulk of the offerings which constituted poor end of season types met with quite a good demand and were mostly absorbed at lower levels compared to last. There were some withdrawals. Very few relatively clean teas on offer sold between Tk.150/- and Tk.200/-.

CTC DUST: 1,405 packages, 10 packages Old season and 335 packages of New Season Teas on offer met with a good demand at easier rates. Plain end of season varieties sold well easing by Tk.10/- to Tk.15/-. There was some competition for New Season teas. Loose tea buyers lent more support with some interest from the Blenders.

COMMENTS: This was the Final Sale and as aforesaid, most teas were end of season but were well absorbed.

There were a few more New Season teas on offer than last which attracted fair interest although prices registered much lower than last. Prices mostly ranged between Tk.180/- and Tk.260/-.

Once again Dusts sold quite well.

Our catalogue (This week) Avg: Tk.113.79, sold 75.61% & (Last Week) Avg. Tk.134.60 sold 92.69%.
