CTC LEAF: 16,367 packages and 344 packages of old season teas on offer continued to meet with a strong demand. BROKENS: BOPs were in strong demand and were dearer following competition often by Tk.2/- to Tk.3/- and prices for these ranged between Tk.212/- and Tk.217/-. Other Brokens were also a strong market particularly the bright liquoring types. FANNINGS: Bright liquoring varieties were a strong market and were generally fully firm to a touch dearer. Mediums were steady whilst plainer types were slightly dearer. COMMENTS: There was a strong demand from the Major Blenders for all varieties leading to generally higher rates. Loose tea buyers and small packers were selective. Once again good liquors Dusts were a stronger feature of the sale. Our catalogue (This week) Avg: Tk 213.50 sold 97.71 % & (Last Week) Avg. Tk. 212.84 sold 96.76 %
