CTC LEAF: 16,931 packages and 616 packages of Old Season Teas on offer met with quite a strong demand.

BROKENS: BOPs continued to meet with a strong demand and were generally firm to occasionally dearer and these could be quoted between Tk.213/- and Tk.218/-. Smaller Brokens were also well supported at around last levels whilst plainer types were often firm.

FANNINGS: Bright liquoring teas met with a strong demand but were slightly easier whilst Medium and other varieties tended firm to slightly dearer.

CTC DUST: 4,270 packages and 40 packages of Old Season Teas were on offer. Strong demand continued. Good liquoring varieties were mostly firm to occasionally dearer following competition and these could be quoted for RDs between Tk.215/- and Tk.220/-, Ds Tk.220/- and Tk.230/- and CDs Tk.265/- and Tk.280/-. All others sold at around last levels in line with quality. Blenders once again lent stronger support with fairly good interest from the Loose tea buyers.

COMMENTS: Similar trend continued to last week in this week's sale whereby major Blenders operated strongly. However, smaller Packers and Loose tea buyers were selective. 
Good liquoring Dusts were once again a strong feature of the sale.
