CTC LEAF: 17,471 packages and 343 packages of old season teas on offer met with an improved demand. BROKENS: Good BOPs met with a good demand easing only slightly over last. These sold between Tk.188/- and Tk.196/-. All others met with a fairly good demand and generally sold around last levels. FANNINGS: Better liquoring Fannings met with a fairly good demand but eased by Tk.1/- to Tk.2/-. These could be quoted between Tk.192/- and Tk.196/-. Medium and plainer varieties followed a similar trend. CTC DUST: 4,607 packages and 65 package of Old Season Teas on offer met with a good demand. Good liquoring varieties met with a fairly strong demand and sold around last levels easing slightly in line with quality. All others were also a good market but eased slightly by upto 5/- including the CDs. Blenders lent strong support with some interest from the Loose Tea buyers. COMMENTS: There was a little more interest in this week's sale with more participation from the Blenders. Loose tea buyers lent fair support for the Dust but continued to be selective in the leaf category. Dusts met with a slightly improved demand.
