CTC LEAF: 17,760 packages and 295 packages of old season teas on offer met with a better demand at slightly dearer rates. BROKENS: Good Brokens were a good market and were slightly dearer and these sold between Tk.190/- and Tk.198/-. All others were also a good market and sold around last levels. FANNINGS: All Fannings were an improved market following more competition and were dearer by Tk.1/- to Tk.3/-. Better liquoring varieties could be quoted between Tk.193/- and Tk.198/-. CTC DUST: 4,309 packages and 99 packages of Old Season Teas on offer once again met with a good demand. All good liquoring varieties met with a good demand and were firm to slightly easier. All others also sold well but were mostly slightly easier in line with quality. Blenders lent good support with fair interest from the Loose tea buyers. COMMENTS: Demand improved further this week with more interest from both Blenders and Loose tea buyers. Good liquoring Dusts were generally a firm market. Our catalogue (This week) Avg: Tk 198.06 sold 96.19% & (Last Week) Avg. Tk. 196.04 sold 93.11%
