CTC LEAF: 17,713 packages and 62 packages of old season teas on offer met with a good demand. BROKENS: Good Brokens met with a better demand and were mostly dearer and these could be quoted between Tk.195/- and Tk.200/-. All others were also a fairly good market and generally sold at firm rates. FANNINGS: Well made good liquoring Fannings were a dearer market following a fair competition and mostly sold between Tk.195/- and Tk.198/-. Other varieties were also a good market and sold at around last levels. CTC DUST: 4,801 packages and 36 packages of Old Season Teas on offer once again met with a good demand. Good liquoring varieties were firm to slightly dearer following competition particularly for the Ds. All others sold around last levels easing slightly in line with quality including the CDs. Blenders lent good support with some interest from the Loose tea buyers. COMMENTS: There was more demand this week emanating from both Blenders and Loose tea buyers. As a result, prices remained firm to slightly dearer. Good liquoring Dusts were mostly a firm market. Our catalogue (This week) Avg: Tk 199.33 sold 94.10% & (Last Week) Avg. Tk. 198.05 sold 96.31%
