CTC LEAF: 18,728 packages and 68 packages of old season teas on offer continued to meet with a good demand at firm rates. BROKENS: Good Brokens were a strong feature of the sale and were often dearer by Tk.1/- to Tk.3/- and these sold between Tk.197/- and Tk,202/-. All others were also a good market with the Mediums being firm and the plainer sorts easing slightly. FANNINGS: Well made good liquoring Fannings were a good market and were firm to occasionally dearer selling between Tk.196/- and Tk.199/-. All others also met with a good market and somewhat followed a similar trend. CTC DUST: 4,330 packages and 67 packages of Old Season Teas on offer met with quite a good demand. Good liquoring varieties were a good market following a fair competition and sold at around last levels. All others eased by Tk.3/- to Tk.5/- in line with quality. Blenders lent good support with some interest from the Loose tea buyers. COMMENTS: Demand was little more widespread this week with more interest from the Loose tea buyers. Blenders continued to operate in good strength which resulted in a slightly dearer market. Good liquoring Dusts were a strong feature of the sale.
