CTC LEAF: 32,871 packages and 40 packages of Old season Teas on offer met with a fairly good demand but again at easier rates. BROKENS: A few well made good liquoring Brokens met with a good demand and were about steady and these sold between Tk.185/- and Tk.187/-. Medium types witnessed a fair demand but eased by upto Tk.2/. However, plain varieties met with a limited interest and there were several withdrawals. FANNINGS: Coloury Fannings met with a good demand but were slightly easier and these could be quoted between Tk.183/- and Tk.185/-. Other varieties eased further often by upto Tk.2/-. Plain varieties met with a limited interest with fair withdrawals. CTC DUST: 7,047 packages and 5 packages of Old season Teas on offer met with a slightly improved demand. Select few lines of good liquolring Ds and CDs sold at around last levels. Good liquoring RDs eased slightly by upto Tk.2/- whilst all others eased by upto Tk.3/- to Tk.4/- in line with quality. Both Blenders and Loose tea buyers lent a little mor4e support COMMENTS: Blenders continued to operate quite actively but price eased as there was less competition. Loose tea buyers were again selective in their purchases particularly in the leaf catalogue. More Dusts sold this week. Our catalogue (This week) Avg: Tk 185.62 sold 87.55% & (Last Week) Avg. Tk 187.27 sold 76.14%
