CTC LEAF: 31,467 packages and 5 packages of Old Season teas on offer met with a good demand at around last levels.

BROKENS: Good Brokens were again a strong feature and were fully firm to slightly dearer. These sold between Tk.192/- and Tk.196/-. Medium types were quite a good market and were generally firm. Plainer types once again showed some decline with some withdrawals.

FANNINGS: Good liquoring Fannings were again a strong market and were mostly firm. These could be quoted between Tk.192/- and Tk.193/-.Mediums and plainer types were about steady with some withdrawals particularly for the plainest.

CTC DUST: 5,233 packages and 30 packages of Old Season teas on offer met with a fairly strong demand. Good liquoring varieties were firm to occasionally dearer following competition. All others sold around last levels in line with quality. Blenders lent fairly strong support with fair interest from the Loose tea buyers.

COMMENTS: All bright liquoring varieties were again a strong feature with Blenders operating actively for these types. However, towards the close of the sale there was a little less competition for all varieties. Loose Tea buyers lent only a fair support.

Good liquoring Dusts were again a dearer market.
