There was very strong demand at dearer rates for the small quantity of 1680 packages offered following quality. BP.1 - Few available, neat leaf from lesser teas not sold. PF1 - Blacker and well made invoices were firm to 4 USC dearer browner, poorer types met low bids. PF.1 SC/PF met very strong competition and were 20 to 30 USC dearer on last.
